Public Meetings

The Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government offers the community the opportunity to browse the agendas of upcoming meetings for the Lafayette City-Parish Council, LPUA, LPPA, and other special meetings. All meetings are held at the Ted A. Ardoin City-Parish Council Auditorium, 705 West University Avenue. Meetings are also televised live on cable channel 5, Acadiana Open Channel (AOC).

Lafayette City-Parish Council

Regular Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM. Regular Council meetings are also held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM specifically for zoning ordinances, discussion items, and comments from the public.

Lafayette Public Utilities Authority

LPUA meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 PM.

Lafayette Public Power Authority

LPPA meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis.

Special Meetings/Briefing Sessions

Special meetings and briefing sessions are scheduled on an as needed basis.
